Painting and Embellishing Denim - October 12

Join guest artist Kimba Green to decorate your jeans or jean jackets! Saturday October 12, 1pm

Decorate your jean jackets or jeans with rhinestones, patches, and hand-stitching Applique, and learn the art of Sashiko (Sashiko is a versatile Japanese stitching and embroidery technique primarily used to mend, reinforce, and embellish garments). Sashiko your jeans and jean jackets with Kimba Green.   

Bring your jeans, jean jacket, or anything you want to paint on. All other materials and instructions will be provided. 

All our classes are beginner-friendly and offer a creative outlet. We break down each step by step. Most have never tried this, but you can create anything with stencils or freehand. 

You can use stencils, so no painting skills are needed, but you can paint without the stencils if you like. Splattering your jeans with paint is an idea to try, or you can paint a word down the side, such as “love.”
