Introduction to Block Printing. Instructed by Bonnie Hoover
Sunday March 10th at 12pm.
Originating in China more than 2000 years ago, block printing is the relief process of printing images using a hand-carved block made of wood or linoleum.
You will learn how to carve simple printing blocks and transfer your design onto paper. We provide all the materials: blocks, carving tools, printing ink and a variety of paper. You’ll leave with a new skill, custom printed artwork and your hand-carved block!
